I'll do a quick sortie to find out how the two lakes i've fished lately are doing at the start of the week and we can confirm where we go say next monday/tuesday. The main thing is the putting method into practise, but it would also be good to catch some fish too

If the spools are the same just tie on a bit of old line and fill the spool (with the line allready on) all the way up so it is more or less level with the lip.Then reverse the whole lot on to your spare spool.Filled up like this is the best way and will straight away rule out that as the problem.If this doesnt cure it then Im sure Jonah will be able to see the problem when you are out together.
