  well done ;)

I'll probably strip it an re-ring it over the winter so at 25 quid it was a cheap blank :)

I think that you have got a bit of a snip there. I have several different types of rod from the amorphous whisker range and to me they are excellent rods. It is a personal thing but I do prefer my amorphous whisker waggler rod to the Normark Titan that I have recently aquired although that is a nice rod as well however at £25 I know which I would buy every time.

I have an Amorphous 24 strand Tommy Pickering 13ft 2inch Tournament stick float special which was Daiwa's top of the range stick rod and imo it doesn't hold a candle to any of my normarks. Don't get me wrong it's a class rod and is kitted out with top fuji guides, high grade cork etc etc. It even has little extras like a detachable 2 inch section of cork and bungs for the blanks but is thicker in the blank and is heavier than the normarks. The normarks have a better action also. Paul, don't judge you Titan until you've had some propper sessions with it :).

There were no bids so I offered him the opening price and he accepted. :)

I have been trying to find out a little more about this rod.

The model No. is MW-s M13OP

Now the Model No: MW-s M13OW is the waggler version but does anyone have any suggestions for what the P might stand for?

Could be power. Daiwa used to have xp on some of their rods which stood for extra power.
