Peter Waller is probably your best bet.

The beaches can fish well all year round, in August there should be plenty of bass about.

You will have to travel inland to fish the broads and broadland rivers.

You have to bear in mind these are deep tidal rivers that all converge on Bredon water and yarmouth.

Beachamp arms on the yare is a hotspot for roach and bream during the summer.

I am sure there are some good spots not to far North in the Thurne system near Sea Palling.

The sea fishing is moderate at that time of year. Coarse fishing is good around Belton & Bradwell, if you like holes in the ground! Fritton Lake is great, a few miles inland though. Best bet is to get John Wilson's 'Definitive Guide on Where to Fish in Norfolk & Suffolk', excellent guide.

Personally I'd head for Potter Heigham, Beccles, Brundall, Beauchamp Armes or Fritton Lake. Fritton is good because there is stacks for the children to do whilst you hit those excellent bream in there!

Humiliating it was Rudd! I'm thinking of changing ships, might even support Town!

Just think, I realised I was lowering the tone of the thread so I deleted my reference to Yarmouth's premiere summer species! And you, you begger, you picked it up!!

Graham you're only about 5 miles from the Trinity group of Broads around Ormesby St Michael. Plenty of rowing boats for hire either from Paul at the Sportsmans Broad or The Eels Foot Inn at Ormesby or on Rollesby. Its all landlocked with NO ENGINES ALLOWED. Utter peace and quiet in the summer. Most species are there, some in abundance. Get yourself a copy of John Wilson's excellent paperbook re Fishing Norfolk and Suffolk. Loads of info about species, locations, contacts etc
