i can only enlarge on my scanner to 400% (gives a 3" sized penny) but using proportinal i had a go at a 10" penny and it came out very well ,unfortunatly at 150dpi it still is a 6.5mb file so far to big to post on here :( (especially on a 56k modem)

i used to have a Rev scan (unknown far east manufacturer) scanner with built in transparency adaptor which was cheaper than this crap HP 2200c one i have now ,it let you have any size enlargement and was far more advanced than my current one

i sold it as it would have suffered in storage :( i wish i haddent

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Last year i was eating a yogurt when a sliver of wood stuck in the roof of my mouth!

I contacted the company who made the yogurt and they sent me a stamped addressed envelope to return the Foreign body in.

After a couple of weeks i got a nice letter and a voucher for £5 for more yogurts.

They said the wood must have come from the fruit packaging and please accept our appologies and voucher e.t.c. e.t.c.

Well it was good to get a reply but i felt a little fobbed off and so wrote to them again saying so and pointing out that the wood that stuck in my mouth had drawn blood

I got another letter and a cheque for £25 so i accepted this offer as i thought it was fair.

Should i have taken it further or was the second offer adequate compensation?

It sounds a fair deal to me, Tyke. I don't think we should be adopting the massive claim culture which we seem to have started and it sounds like a fair explanation.

Mind you it was wood from fruit packaging this time, so what's to stop it being partially decomposed rat next time!

Did anyone read that article about a sausage factory in the Daily Mail just before Christmas? Frightening! My uncle, who is a farmer, always told me not to eat meat pies, sausages and burgers unless you see them being made.
