Catfish in Norfolk Lakes

Does anyone know the lakes in Norfolk that hold a GOOD head of cats?

 

I know Cobbleacre has a few, but was wondering if anywhere else does?

Most of the lakes in the Great Dismal Swamp have nice populations of catfish and that area isn't too far south of Norfolk.

 

Smith Mountain Lake has some bigguns but it's around 4-5 hours drive from Norfolk. Probably make as much sense to try Lake Wylie south of Charlotte if you are gonna drive any distance.

Can anyone help him out with some catfishing locations that are closer to home than the 3000+ miles to the ones near me?

 

(and Norfolkdan, I appreciate your giving me the chance to mis-understand. I was able to do quite a bit of that when I first joined the forum but the regulars have gotten wise to me. )

There were some that swam across the chanel and took up residence in the thurne system, and some allegedly got mixed up with some carp and ended up in a pit not far from Harleston. The only legal stocking used to be J.Ws lake in the wensum valley but what the current situation is I,m not sure.
