only real men catch carp and pike

So I should be alright then, as I have caught quite a few fish that could comfortably swallow a thirty pound carp. ....but the idea that it takes a "big strong man" to catch big fish is sheer nonsense. My wife, height 5' 2" and weighing around 120 lbs, has brought to boat a number of big fish, such as Common Skate well into three figures, and several big billfish, including an Atlantic Blue Marlin of over 900 lb That would leave the "big strong men" of the carp circuit struggling somewhat :whistling: PS.... and as for the title of this thread, Real men fish for and catch whatever they bloody well choose.

Rather like successful fishing, luck doesn't enter into it !

This topic is perhaps the most bizarre one I've read in ages!

Plenty of female friends and relatives think I'm crazy / wierd for fishing. Manliness just doesn't enter into it!

The concept of having to appear like a real man to anyone is alien to me. I couldn't give two hoots what anyone thinks! In my experience those trying hard to be like "real men" do so as they worry people might find out about their lingerie wearing....

Think I'll trade in the rods for a bow, Phone... :D

i am thinking you lads need to spend less time playing with your own tackle and take a night class in psycology

everyone needs an ology

women are attracted to men who catch the big fish even if they dont know it

how many times at tea break in the stock room do you hear the ladies say.

he is a nice catch

she landed a husband

he has big tackle

i bet he can land the big one

he is the big one that got away

he is the big fish

he is a keeper

he can get in my fish nets anytime

she snagged a goodun

hes a fine catch

he has a big rod

i like to get my hooks in him

it might sound a little fishey but ladies like the successful fisherman who gets the big fish but they some times laugh at the tiddler man

he has a tiddler

he has a minnow

little maggot and make the little finger maggot wiggle

wont catch much with that tackle

he is a tiddler man

what so wrong with the tesco ladies?
