Well said mate, and absolutely true. The Polish Squadrons were fearless. I had you down as one of those who may have forgotton what staunch allies the Poles were. Sorry for that.

That's OK. i think if your homeland and many people you knew had been killed or raped or tortured it gives you a sence of more hatred. I think that's what made them fearless. spitfires and hurricanes were told to shoot at 400 yards but the poles came in and blasted them at 100 yards which probably accounted for why they had so many more kills. Closing in at 300 + Mph at 100 yards was deadly....And very brave. Witold Urbanowicz said i never pressed my guns until i saw a rear gunners eyes then i would blow them out...
