The Used Tackle £20 carbon Carp rod is a bargain, I bought a pair of 2.5lb test curves for Sue and they look the business, would have sold for around the ton a few years back.

Save your money and do it yourself, it will still catch fish even if it doesn't look completely professional, don't become a fishing fashion junkie.
