Posting Pictures to AN?

I have tried a search but could not find what I wanted so sorry if this is a repeat request.

I managed with Nicks link but am stuck with this one for some reason. Nick provide an idiots guide that I printed out and followed to the letter, anything like that been done here?

I have uploade the picture OK but how do you paste it into the post? Do you have to type out the whole thing from [img to /img}

When I put pics in emails I just attach it :confused:

Yep Alan copy and paste the WHOLE line of text including the img tags into your post here..

 

I've put dots in the brackets in the first example so you can see what is posted at the forum.

The picture here is the same as above but with the dots in the brackets above removed..

Change of plan, Sonja sorted it out, you have to click on the line until it goes blue etc etc.

Will write HER instructions down and bombard you all

As I said, copy and paste..

 

Of course some things I take for granted and I apologise for that.

 

You must highlight the text in question and then in your browser go to edit/copy, then in this window right click and select paste..

 

To highlight, left click somewhere in the text and hold the button down and move the mouse to the end of the text and release the left mouse button, its now highlighted..
