Matt hayes fishing.

Hi guys, I recently bought a copy of matt hayes fishing and installed it. Unfortunately, the game seems does not recognise my p4 processor and assigns it a negative value rather than passing it as meeting the required operating standard. I have looked for patches online but found none. Haas anyone else had this prob and is there a solution? My operating system is xp.

ps, the game is fine, i tried it out on my father in laws machine ( a p2 ) and it works a treat, and its a damned good game too!!

i had a load of trouble with that game, i gave up in the end. it would start fine, but crash at a random point during the game. its the only program i've had that crashes regularly on this machine so in the end i couldnt be bothered with it, plus i got fed up with matt saying 'oh it feels like a big one'

Rofl, thanks Jeepster, I can relate to that, glad to know im not alone. Strange thing is, when you go on the electronic arts website for support, there is no mention of the game.

Nik - may not help but certainly can't hurt to try running it in compatibility mode - 98 or ME maybe.

Right-click the desktop shortcut then properties and there should be a tab labeled Compatibility.
