Hi

I've got a CP1A P2 400 for my son to use and am trying to add a 2nd memory module into the 2nd bank but the banks are facing each other and so close together that when I add the 2nd module the first module prevents it from snapping down into place - Any ideas?

Hi Sand,

First of all what are you trying to expand the memory from - to ....

i have just upgraded my memory from 128 to 256, i had the same problem and found it easier to just buy a single memory mod, i have a 128mb memory mod now spare that i will be putting on ebay soon but happy to give to you for your lad if you want to try it.

WFS - That is very kind of you - The advice I was given from the Dell forum was that I would need to find low profile modules which are rare or go with one 256 mod which seems like the sensible way forward. So I also will be flogging two 128 mods on ebay soon :D:D
