hmmm, that is a good approach! I'll have to see if I can make something for my current roof rack based on that!

 

One thing I do note though, I thought you were meant to load kayaks hull up?! Any comments on this?

Oh Oh Oh I want one of them Oh Oh, where do I get one for a standard for roof rack, Oh that means I can carry on yaking when i get too old to lift it on the roof and my sister casn buy one too!!

I've been thinking (yes it hurt) Perhaps we're over complicating things here. What about a stiff metal bar with foam cladding in the middle, spanned from the rear roof rack to the front bar, then roll onto it, and hoist it down that way?
