Good couple of days there SM. A lovely bass too - sounds like a good spot to fly fish - you could throw some fur and feather whilst waiting for something to take a bait....

I love that Ray. What a marbled pattern. I haven't caught a thornback for years. We used to get them off Twyn - where you came for the tope - but they have become very scarce.

Nifty has loads down his way - he got a handful the other day! I want to catch one now too. swap you for a tope :D

Simon, your on, come and play :D

The bass mark is ideal for the fly, but not when it's howling. Can't wait to give it a try.

Nice one Boys...and a cracking Bass there Starvin :D ...you gonna post us a pic of the beastie??? Amazing that it was caught just below the yak in 2ft of water!!!...was the water very coloured?

Anyhow well done on another good day out. I was down in Ringwood, camping with the family, unfortunately no yak fishing, lovely and sunny though but quite an evil wind as you say.

Cheers for now and Tightlines, Art :)

Best to ask Darnsarf as he got a very close look :D sorry Darnsarf :D

Yes it was coloured, we were fishing on top of a mud bank, once the water level got to about 4ft the crabs moved in and the fish stopped feeding.
