Cracking brace of bass A B - Well done ! :)

I'm hoping for decent bass myself tonight from my local beach - conditions look great - settling down nicely after onshore gale force winds yesterday. Fingers crossed !

Here we go....

Well done on the catch. And no complaint from me about keeping two for the table. :)

If I caught two decent sized bass, I'd keep both. A whole baked fish - lovely. Equally, other recipes where fillets are preferable. :P

Westie.

If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

When I took the photo they were well and truly alive, thats what happens when you get 2 fish in 2 casts!

However they were taken for the table.

If that upsets some of you I'm sorry.

Off to catch some black bream today and I'll keep a couple of them too :P

So would I, as I only catch about 2 Bass every 4 years.

Exactly my point. These are only caught once. Maybe if people kept the odd 3lb'er for the table and returned the fish we all like to catch (which are the big breeding fish anyway) we would catch more like this?
