Just had a nice pair of kippers, which sort of set me thinking; (it had to happen eventually).

 

I like Kedgeree for breakfast, and scrambled eggs with some smoked salmon is nice but are there any other fishy things that make for a good breakfast.

 

No cod in batter please; not for breakfast. :o

Homemade fishcakes over a couple of fried eggs, with and without maple syrup, was a favoured sunday breakfast in this house for a long time. Got me thinking now about next sunday.

Another vote for fresh (still twitchin') makerel fillets dusted in flour, oatmeal or instant mash and then grilled until crispy.

aye, and just plain boiled is seawater are superb, but fried with some good dry cured smoked bacon, absolute heaven.

I go for any fish but the bones get stuck in me feeding tube.:D
