Finally had the pleasure at the Southampton Boat Show, looks fast even out of the water still desperate to give one a paddle (Andrew if your listening ), if your narrow in the rump, ie standard sized or smaller then I think that it will be a great choice of kayak, I understand that there will be 3 colours to choose from, Olive (dark green), yellow and Grey... my choice would be the yellow, be seen your not going to scare any fish, they haven't seen enough of us yet to know what we are

 

And like you say cheap as chips, in fact cheaper than a Prowler 13 I believe.

I must say you do need to be a bit of a whippet to get in one and as for sitting wet , well I would sooner be dry than wet, makes for more comfort, which leads to longer time on the water. I know from from experiance from paddling it (No offence Simon)

Speeeeed, well if your racing out to the Tope mark with five others you need to be able to beat the buggers to the best spot, and if you go hunting bait with Simon you need something fast to keep up, especially if it's one of his 3 mile trips with the feathers, you'll see.

 

As for a wet ride, it's just a matter of time, wait until you do your first surf launch I'm sure you'll be wetter than Nifty's pork pie.

Can the Scupper Pro have a seat fitted? Does it need one?

 

Is it as stable as the Prowler 13? Only with my recent record that could be an important factor when considering it.
