I've seen trout take mayfly and sedges like that, but never damsels. They do get obsessed though, so once they've done one they repeat. I like th bulge that appears just befor ethe fish emerges to engulf them. I've had a dry damsel in my fly box for years but never tied it on. If I was there - I most definitely would! It wouldn't be a question of 'what are they taking today'?
