Closed cell, foam Stabalisers, nice idea.

 

Might try and make a set up for the Scrambler XT, could make it easier to stand while Flyfishing.

Yep they may be o.k. too, but maybe a bit noisey being a hard material.

Could make out of pipe lagging with a glued dowel runnng through the middle and 2 eyes and links at the ends.

Darnsarf, might be worth you fitting these all the way around + some outriggers just incase :D

 

Joking aside they look like they will get in the way of paddling and are they really necessary unless your a wobbly yorkshireman who likes to get wet I say why stand when you can sit.

Good point SM, but being easily clipped on/off I'd have thought their main use would be for stability when drifting, so you can stand up. You could paddle without them then clip them on when you get to your mark.

Only when you stand up you then frighten all the fish away - so you have to stand up to cast far enough.........or is it just my ugly visage that causes that phenomenon?
