i do choose!!i use various make and names the clours range from brown to an orangey type(not bright) and one that s beigey/brown,if im fishing clear water i go for the less obtrusive colour i can use.i know ian welch and martin bowler have experimented with entaprise artifical pop-boilies and they are a bright look at me colour, yellow i think.highly flavoured aswell(they hold flavour well as all entaprise baits do).and i know they work.on hard fished barbel rivers doin g something a lil difrent may help.

Boilies and barbel!! Whatever next? Bivvies on the bankside, carbon rods and bite alarms! Oversized egg beaters and four rods!! Whats wrong with oversize Barbours and floppy hats? Whats wrong with cane and pins? Whats wrong with garden worms? Dash it my good fellows! You'll be using braids, bolt rigs and circle hooks next! Humphhhh, whats the world coming to!
