I wonder if the sale of the license is declared to the Inland Revenue? Or does the money go "unseen" into the back pocket of the retiring fisherman?

I would expect that as all fishermen are totally honest individuals the total earnings are declared, wouldn't you?

If everything people earned was declared to the IR we would have no need for accountants. Now spare a thought for the poor accountants who are already struggling on a bare minimum wage. We need to minimise the ammount we pay the IR by employing accountants or thousands of them would be made desitute and evicted from their homes in sububerbia and forced to live a meagre existinance in their back up accomodation in warmer climes!

 

So I am going to start a national campaign to raise funds for for poor and destitute accountants...all donations should be sent in cash in a sealed down envelope to....
