Inshore Blacktipping

Any of you guys ever try light tackle blacktip fishing from inshore? What time of year would you recommend?

Good casting rod? You usually get a waverunner and drop the line out about a 100 yards. Yeah I hear Florida is the best for blacktipping from shore....What about South Carolina????

Myrtyle Beach seems to be the place for blacktip shark.

 

Blacktip shark - like a lemon shark only more aggressive
