Silly prices?

In my (painful) experience, cheap rigs are often made up with low quality lines, hooks etc. in the Far East and are not worth it - they can lose you fish. The exception is buying commercial gear - mainly hooks, feathers, heavy mono and swivels. People who use them for their livelihood are not going to put up with rubbish, nor will they pay over the odds. You have to buy in larger quantities of course. Try people like South West Nets and other commercial suppliers.

I can tell ya that most of his rigs are ok. The hokeyes etc are all superb. Not sure about the pennel etc. If you ever go on ebay? type big_cod in the search that guy does some great rigs very cheap they are too.
