Not likely to catch on in the UK, can't sleep whilst a bow and arrow aims and fires itself.

Or get an electronically-aimed one, eh Pete? <_<

Just to confirm, hunting any living quarry with a bow or crossbow is illegal in the UK.

And on the eighth day God created carp fishing...and he saw that it was pukka.

A pedant (and archer) replies:

A bow cannot be fired, as it is not a firearm. Common mistake, Peter, even Aragorn came out with it at the Battle of Helm's Deep in The Two Towers (Tolkien knew better, but Peter Jackson obviously didn't).

A curious non-archer asks:

What do you call it then?

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

I don't know, but I use a pea-shooter to get cats out of my garden. I didn't think much about it ,until I started getting a decent crop of peas growing along the hedge where the dried peas had germinated. One method two results :thumbs:
