Was working in Bournemouth today so popped over to Double Dykes to see thispost-7370-1138381376_thumb.jpg

They have been doing this work for some time now, think the official name is 'Beach Regeneration'. Sand is pumped via the dredger in the background. They did shore road stretch a couple of years ago, and believe they are doing similar work on swanage beach at the moment. It doesn;t take long for the beach to get back to normal, despite the state it looks at present.
