Starving all the microbes which in turn starve the worms, which in turn starve the crabs, which in turn starve the fish, which in turn will make all Angling forums obsolete, which in turn will make the advertisers/Angling businesses starve, etc, etc etc. These petitions could go on longer than a BMP thread!

Crabs used as bait!!!!!! Whatever next, I wonder if someones told the fish they shouldn't be eating crabs.

yep my local fishkeeping shop sell hermits but at a fiver a pop don't think I will be using them as bait, been trying for the last couple of hours to smoke one out but not had much luck, tried smashing them out but had four goes and ruined twenty quids worth of bait, still back down shop maybe i should just try pulling them out

if pet shops are selling them, they presumably have names. if you want it out of it's shell, you just say,' come on freddy, walkies', and out it comes. You then grab it, and stick a hook through it!
