Its been fishing good for me with better bags of silvers, chub and barbel in the last couple of weeks. Must be the time of year, but could do with a bit more water in it.

I managed to get out after tea today and had an excellent little session. I had trout, barbel and chub but the trout were the stars today due to their fantastic colours. They must be getting their make up on ready for the coming breeding season. I didn't take many pic's as I was mid river most of the time and it was a nuisance going to the bank...

Yeah P, i've been giving it a propper test out to see how it performs with a real bend in it...it seems ok but ATM I still prefer the older Drennan rods by a country mile !
