You have to remember that various sets of images for the UK were taken at different times. I know, for example, that the piccies of Heathrow have been updated because a mysterious low-res chunk which was entertaining the conspiracy theorists has been replaced with high-res coverage and one of our Concordes is missing!

If you can find Barksdale Airforce Base, 32°30'N 93°40'W you might find some B52s on the tarmac.

 

Barksdale Air Force Base is HQ for the Eighth Air Force, 2d Bomb Wing and 917th Wing. The 2d Bomb Wing are B-52 specialists.

 

Barksdale AFB is located in Bossier Parish northwest Louisiana .

Are those things at the South-East end of the runway A10s? I'm not an aircraft expert, I'm afraid! Fairford air base is less than five miles away as the jet flies, so we get some odd things flying over, particularly during the air show. Also during times of conflict, we had bombing missions to Iraq taking off from there

It's not your setting Jim, it's the resolution of the pictures taken of your area. Some are higher than others.
