Launch of new (quality?) fishing magazine

Friday morning and a thud on the front door mat, meant the post had arrived, I left it; as most of the post these days are bills and I really did not want to face another bill this week.

Mrs. H picked up the assortment of letters and the good news was that amongst the bills were three envelopes that I did not recognise, one was some buffer beads ordered from flee-bay, another was a buzz bar to match my bespoke drop arm buzz bar made for me by a very good engineering friend and the third was a larger envelope containing the first edition of Fallon's Angler.

I had no expectation at all as to what the new magazine might contain, but it's a quarterly Magazine, which works out to £2.66 a month and seemed like a reasonable cost for a decent read about fishing.

Unlike others I like reading about different aspects of angling, angling I'm never likely to try and venues I will never visit, this edition exceeded my hopes and covers a number of areas of fishing I had never thought about.

I'm sure there will be comments about the feel of the magazine and the fact that it does not have a shiny cover, but I like the solid appearance of the first edition, so I will be ordering Issue 2.
