I love the smell of coconut in the morning. Smells like.

Weired this but at this time of year, the gorse flowers smell intencely of coconut and comming in to work along tha canal towpath on the bike, I get it full force.

Strangely, there can be even more flowers on the gorse latter in the year but it never smalls the same as it does in April and early May.

 

I'm sure that I read somewhere that gorse is the only other natural thing to smell of coconut other than erm, coconut. :blink:

Species caught in 2016: Siamese carp. Jullien's golden carp. Striped catfish. Mekong catfish. Amazon red tail catfish. Arapaima. Alligator gar. Rohu. Black Minnow Shark. Roach, Bream, Perch, Ballan Wrasse. Rudd. Common Carp. Pike. Zander. Chub. Bleak.

Species caught in 2015: Brown Trout. Roach. Bream. Terrapin. Eel. Barbel. Pike. Chub.

Always reminds me of Hawiian Tropic sun tan oil and takes me back to the Greek Islands in the late 70's.

All those naked bodies baking in the sun...........

Ah me!!!!
