Just had some great news :thumbs:

A mate of mine is starting a job at a fish suppliers in Poole.I should be able to get loads of fish scraps from next month onwards :clap2:

Great report guys.

 

Sorry the skate trip did not work out, but you cant help the weather.

 

I am planning to take the boat up on at least 4 more occasions this year and would be happy to provide support , a tow or help lifting anchors. Your first experience of fishing 400 ft + is a real eye opener, it certainly was for me. You quickly stop reeling in to check your bait!

 

Even at slack tide you need close on a lb of lead and when its running a 1kg lump is common. Those cuckoo wrasse sure are pretty, and I am suprised you didn't get any thornies in the loch itself, I've had them to 7 1/2 lb and they seem to always be there.
