AVG question

When I update AVG (free version), it's not unusual for there to be a priority update, a recommended update and also an optional update.

I've not yet found a way to download all three in one operation. Is there one?

Currently I have to check for updates and if there's more than one I have to do them individually, it don't take long, but all in one go would be quicker.

do you have AVG set to 'auto update' ??

Is that an option with the free version?

I can't find it anywhere.

(So that'll be a "no" in response to your question Tog). ;)

I've got all that Jimpy, no probs, but how do I download all three updates (priority, recommended and optional) at the same time?

When the update box is open I can only highlight one selection at time and that is the one that downloads, then I have to do it all again and then again if there's all three options.

I can find two version numbers on mine, both 7.1.0.381. and 7.1.392. appear in different places.

Mine is the free version and I can find no way to alter anything in the scheduler in the control centre, it carries out a complete scan every day at 8.00am.

However, I've just found in the Test centre (not the control centre) scheduler that I can set it to check for updates, so I'll give that a try and see if it downloads them all in one go, rather than my usual manual check.
