Roag, you still havent answered my question? only avoided it! how many sea trout have you kept in your lifetime in numbers please?as far as the law is concerned i have permission from the landowner whose loch the sea trout runs into to fish it and the small river, but as this was on a public beach, who should i seek permission from?

"Thurso Angler- I do know that any I took in the last twenty years were taken legally, unlike yours."

Hmmm, This has the makings of a good court case.....I think I would call the above statement Liable, or maybe Slanderous....if you had said that to me,in private or on an OPEN PUBLIC forum, I would 100% be seeing a lawyer on Monday morning....accusing a guy of theft....where is YOUR proof....

William, heres the returns for the Assoc, they catch lots of Sea Trout.....wonder how many end up in the pot.....???

fish were caught on frozen sand eel ammo red packet quite small in size, weight on a sliding red boom then a swivel that your lighter line is attached to about 4-5 foot long, just cast about 30-40ft from shore set rod in sand and wait for all hell to break loose!
