Awesome Action with pics

You should try bass fishing in salt water rivers, creeks and harbours Colin. Newt sent me a Bassing DVD by a bloke called Woo Davies, U.S. style billboard advertising, but what a revelation! I've yet to catch anything over 14" so I could eat it, but I have had a whale of a time flicking Carolina rigged soft plastic into all sorts of odd spots. Had a shopping trolly, blessed Walmart, but our bass make for good fishing.

Glad that our less than courteous members haven't discouraged you Blake. We might have you fishing with a whip and a size 20 hook yet! Newt, our resident ex colonial, has taught some of us a lot, in turn we have done our best to convert him to real fishing, e.g. carp fishing whilst sleeping.

:lol::lol: Not because I dropped the fish , but because Yoda has invited himself for supper.

Totally agree with Peters post about the way some have recieved Blakes post.

Blake let me assure you that many of us really enjoy seeing how others fish and what they catch. You keep posting that sort of stuff mate. The ones who cant see any further than what they do every weekend come and go here vall the time. Those of us with a less "focused" veiw are always here!

Least I know 100% what a Bowfin looks like!

A sepperate section for "US anglers"? yeagh right! best put one up for Indian,Canadian,Swedish,South African,Americans living in Germany,South Africans living in England,Swedes living in London, British living in Spain etc etc etc etc (and thats just a few of the many who have been posting here for some time!)

WHAT THE (rude word) ARE SOME OFF YOU ON?

ANGLERS NET-for anglers, simple as that.Dont like it then (rude word again) off and set up your own BNP Fishing Site! You can then all bore each other intensely with talking about the same old species and the same old methods eh?

Have some of you no imagination? no desire to catch other species from other waters on other methods? No?then I assure you you either will one day once you have caught most of the ones you can here or you will simply fade away from the sport.

Both pi$$ poor mentality and manners in my book.

LOL - Budgie, don't try so hard to be politically correct. Tell us how you really feel. :D :D

Blake & Dave - glad you didn't let a little fussing put you off. This is a great forum with only the occasional person who dislikes us furriners and our barbaric ways.

That is a fatty Peter! Even allowing for the positioning it must be around a"hand and a half" deep at the point he is holding it!

Ive always been fascinated by ice fishing since seeing they fish from inside the huts on that film Grumpy old men(?) where they are catching Walleye in ultimate winter comfort!

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
