Next weekend is good for me, even if we dont get out maybe we could all do lunch or somethime and talk about the ones that got away. .

On a side note, one of the greatest things for me about Kayaking is the fact that people you wouldn't normally say hello to in the street you gladly wave to and speak with while afloat, it is a very special hobby we share, I have had the privalage of meeting a lot good people, good friends and only one nutter through kayaking, If you do decide to have a go you will get addicted...........

hi fellow beans got back from france last week only to find i had shingles that scuppered my 1/2 week of yakking and the beer festival. doc gave me some tabs to take and some others for the pain , what did it say on the box no alcohol.plus he gave me three months supply

sod that !!!!!!!!

apparently most people get it sometime in their life if they have had chicken pox ,lies dorment till it comes out eek

anyway went to decathlon stores in france ,they have plenty of yak gear and fishing gear plus wetsuits etc.

Our boy had shingles when he was one, we couldnt brush his hair for a year let alone pick him up and cuddle him, I hope you get better soon Trev, dont worry about the beer festival, I drank enough for both of us.

Hehe just came back from silly isle , interesting landing to say the least, still we hit the runway on the third attempt at getting her down, give them pilots their due it cant be much fun trying to sit down one of them crates in a force 6.

 

I'm surprised there's not more Guernsey kayakers on here as I must have counted at least ten on the way to and from the airport, we should get a inter island comp going.
