Good luck to you all for tomorrow, wish I had put my name down now as I would have been able to make it, not to worry. Don't forget the camera Ferret.

Just a reminder, I shall be organising a trip to the Itchen again for February sometime and it will be a saturday Lyn, so keep your eyes peeled as it will fill very quickly.

For those that have not left yet, we will see you on the banks. We have been at league football trials today for our Surrey league team. I had 3 of my boys in, we had 66 boys to assess in all (I was an assessor) I am proud to say that Liam got through, :yeah: on his own merrit I hasten to add. Only one person knew he was my son.

I could kick myself as I was so busy watching all the boys that I forgot the mental note I made of my other 2 teams members numbers, so I don't know if they passed or not.

We were so late getting away I just made the tackle shop in time to get my maggotts. :headhurt: I did phone ahead just to let them know I was on my way. :)

See you all tomorrow along with one well pleased with himself son

Well thanks toTony (& Sue) for organising the best Anglersnet Timsbury trip ever :)

(So sorry that you couldn't make it :()

And thanks to Kevin too for making sure that it happended.

Dunk & I arrived a little later than most, but still in time to catch the last of the mist rising on the slow carrier and ice beads on spider webs.

The fishing wasn't spectacular, but everyone (as far as I know caught).

I was pleased to find the grayling and trout still in the shallows, though I had nothing of any great size, so spent my time wandering around the whole fishery and socialising.

(It's a pity that great fishing and great company is hard to mix, you want to spend hours talking with friends not seen for a while, yet the river dances so enticingly, and there are so many swims to be fished).

Flipping Heck! Hasn't Liam grown, what are you feeding him Lyn!!

Missed Dunk's battle with a super carp in the pool at the top of the slow carrier, but saw him land a good perch.

Ferret's hound is cool :)

Anyway, here's some pics (forgot to take any of fish!)

Well after a cold start it turned into a great day, Although the fishing was not easy I think all caught. My tally ended at 6 trout and one decent grayling along with a few small roach perch and a parr.

heres Andrew wrestling a grayling.
