Richard Wright, keyboard player and founder member of Pink Floyd passed on yesterday after a short fight against cancer.

 

Responsible for "Great gig in the sky" and "Us and them", I will certainly miss his great music.

 

"Great Gig" will see me off when the time comes.

 

Thanks Richard for all the pleasure you gave me over the years, RIP

Aye like most deaths senseless! But as has been said I watched a bootleg group called Off the Wall in Halifax a couple of years ago and they were SUPERB!!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I didn't catch any news yesterday so it was a bit of a shock this morning when I read this post... so sad

I've been a fan for years, thank you Richard for many years of pleasure, this morning I will be listening to Gilmours On an Island on which album Richard played.

Our perception of time as an orderly sequence of regular ticks and tocks has no relevance here in the alternative dimension that is fishing....... C.Yates
