Beautifully textured meat but not a lot of taste, have to add the flavour, easy to cook tho.

my mind not only wanders-- sometimes it leaves completely.

Having eaten a great deal of 'hopping venison' I would tend to agree. However, as the 'roo is on our coat-of-arms, many people are aghast at the thought of eating a national emblem.

Then you need to switch over to an emblem that is not tasty Bobj. For instance, I don't know of anyone who supports the idea of eating eagles.

Unfortunately, mate, the Australian motto on the coat-of-arms is "Advance Australia Fair" which is why the emu and kangaroo are depicted, due to the fact that these two creatures cannot move backwards.

Onward from that, there are several, (uninformed) people who detest the idea of the annual culling of kangaroos. When one sees a 1000 acre paddock just seething with the macropods, then one will understand.

Errr - birds don't move any direction other that forward either (well, up & down but always forward).

I wonder if there is any chance of culling some of the activists while they are at it?

I meant birds of earthly origin. I think hummingbirds were passengers on a space ship that crashed and they managed to adapt to living here.

They ARE NOT normal.

Only if I get the opportunity to eat them.
