Removal of worms, crabs and Small fish for bait to be banned?

Recommended Posts

It's nice to see that someone thinks about my original post and ''Conservation'' instead of wanting to start another ''Us and Them'' war before they can be bothered to get to this meeting and listen to what people have to say....Seems the letter has so far had it's original plan in making people sit up and look at what is happening.

Hello Ron

You can't blame people for being just a little sceptical of Mr Gilsons motives, especially given some of his previous proposals like the bass cull! If anyone is guilty of starting another "them and us war", it's Mr Gilson. Why else would he have mentioned the new bass MLS, (though he says it is a bye law?), the tope bye law, the deveoping recreational fishery, how angling is barbaric, and propose that there be a ban on anything anglers may wish to use as bait, including small fish? If it was just to get everyone whipped up into a frenzy, including commercial fishermen, what is there in Mr Gilsons proposal to get commercial fishermen all fired up?

Sorry Ron, but I'll remain scepotical until I hear or see something more convincing.

This guy isn't after his moment of glory by any chance? Is it his birthday on that date. Why won't he spill the beans before hand. Does anyone else know what is on the hidden ajenda. Must be wind farms all along the coast to create permanent ntz. That would be conservating.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

To my mind the offshore wind farms are a good thing, they are better that one on land.

why!!!!

I fish to live and live to fish.

So when anglers get the golden mile that pushes you out 1 mile from the shore, you will then be restricted further by the offshore wind farms that are going to be built on your favorate sand bars.

THEY DONT LIKE IT UP EM THE FUZZY WUZZIES, THEY DONT LIKE IT UP EM!

I can't see how he can propose what he has, and give the reasons he has, and then change it all at the meeting.

He may not be changing it at the meeting, he maybe using the contents of his letter as a headline to lead into the issue :D

That is a clever tatic when your looking to put bums on seats from a wide spectrum of interest.

Just a guess based on info posted on here and an often used gambit.:D
