Indeed, heard it happening quite a few times now :( Genuine innocent people too, just unaware of the risks.

My sister contacted me a few months back to tell me that she'd suddenly become unable to connect to her wireless access point. We eventually worked out that what had actually happened was that her neighbour had finally got round to securing his connection; she'd been inadvertently connecting to his network for months. :rolleyes:

 

People really should secure their connections, though. Right now I can see an unsecured Netgear AP with SSID broadcast enabled and set to the default setting. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if the router's admin password is still the default too. Only one other connection is unusual, so I guess the others have finally been turned off or secured.
