Needles Area Catch Report

Meant NO COD!!

Not that easy I'm afraid Martin. Despite the Needles being one of the countries top Cod marks(there were well over 20 small boats within a mile of us-we counted them!)the Cod are few and far between.It's going to need some time put in to get one.

 

Got some good news today at work. Got to go to Cardiff for 2 days tomorrow and it looks like I may well be there all next week so I'll only have a short drive to the Pike meet.May even be able to finish the job early so I can go Codding!

The cunning plan involves camping on an uninhabited island 5 miles out using it as base to visit a lot of of islands and reefs in the area.... off teh west of scotland of course. Plus there is an interesting hole 600ft deep on the way there .... just begging to be fished
