Not often I report on my fishing but this one was a bit special. Last night in a storm force south westerly I caught only my second ever double figure cod. Caught it on 3 crabs 6 mussels 5 blow lug and 1 black gulley worm presented on a penell rig and cast about 30 yards from the shore where I was fishing. The fish weighed 10 pounds 4 ounces and gave me the fight of my life. I thought my chances of ever seeing another double were long gone but just when you least expect it out one pops. It came from a mark where the average size of fish is about 1 and a half pounds and in 10 or more years of fishing there I havent seen much over 5 pounds. A great night and one I wont forget for some time.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
