I would like to come again and give it one last shot/crack of this water but will understand if Steve said priority will be given to those who haven't fished at Wingham before.

Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional

I for myself would LOVE to come. BUT this year more than ever I fear it will not be possible AGAIN! I'll just be getting the shop set up and hopefully starting to make a living!! But if anything changes Steve,Peggy be assured I will be there!!!!

But whatever happens I hope the fishing is as good as it usually is!! WHO CARES about the weather if you are fishing such a MECCA!!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

To answer the various "Can I come" questions, every Forum member is invited. However I'm afraid I won't be able to confirm you've got a place until nearer the time. I expected to be fully booked last year but wasn't, and so may be overly pessimistic again this year.

 

I started this topic only on request as some of you asked for plenty of advance notice and reminders so that they didn't book anything else that weekend.
