South Shields

Scapanapper

Recommended Posts

Hello you Geordie boys and girls.

The Scapanapper is coming to South Shields for a course next month for a couple of weeks.

To help keep me away from the pubs I was thinking of bringing a telescopic spinning rod in order to do a bit of casting off the break waters.

Is it worth the effort or should I just stick with the booze???

great bunch of lads, went fishing with some of them a few years back of North Shields pier, though that one as far as i am aware is not open to the general public, but South Shields pier is.

It's a bloody long'un too about a mile i think.

If you go there you will be ok with a spinning rod, it is a bit of a tackle graveyard in places, but ask the boys on the forum and they will help you out.
