Recommended Posts

Launched from Lake at about 6.30pm paddled up to Holton hoping for a flattie or two to start off my 2007 species hunt.

Fished two rods both with ragworm and spoons. After about half an hour had the first fish aboard

that was the pattern for the evening really ---a fish every half hour, the biggest being this one

DSCF0155.jpg

Really enjoyed my first trip out of the year except when 3 Marine speedboats flew past with no lights on and gave me a bit of a splash!Shame all I caught was the one species--BASS--8 altogether all released

Oh and SpeciMan the new Nav light worked a treat and only cost £8!---I'll show you how after I've had some sleep  it's still going strong now!

isnt it about time you soft southern boys organised a bit of a meet instead of flaunting your spectacular coastlines , harbours and catches :schmoll::schmoll::angry:

I second that Martin. About time they shared that stunning scenery and red hot fishing with us rock hounds.
