Poole Harbour Night Fishing Report 6-1-07

Launched from Lake at about 6.30pm paddled up to Holton hoping for a flattie or two to start off my 2007 species hunt.

Fished two rods both with ragworm and spoons.After about half an hour had the first fish aboard

 

 

that was the pattern for the evening really ---a fish every half hour,the biggest being this one

 

 

Really enjoyed my first trip out of the year except when 3 Marine speedboats flew past with no lights on and gave me a bit of a splash!Shame all I caught was the one species--BASS--8 altogether all released

 

Oh and SpeciMan the new Nav light worked a treat and only cost £8!---I'll show you how after I've had some sleep it's still going strong now!

Nice one Richi At least you got out.I know what you mean about the speedboats with no lights.Alot of them head up towards the Wareham channel/River to poach the Salmon and seatrout
