Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd share a bit of my good news with you.

I've just had an article and photos (7) published in Mays 4x4 magazine over a 2 page spread. As this is my first published article, i'm quite pleased, and felt like telling people.

Thanks to people like Steve Randles and Mr Wiggly for encouraging us all to keep taking the pictures to start with.

Nice one Cameraman - congratulations - a great achievement! :clap2::thumbs:

Westie.

If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

Not X-Trails?

Mostly Terranos, and my old Patrol, but if you have a X trail your more than welcome to come along next time, its only the low ground clearance that prevents them from being a true go anywhere vehicle.

Congratulations Cameraman, you must be stoked  . I had a look for an on line version so I could have a look myself but couldnt find one  . But, great stuff none the less.

Ya got that right mate. Last time I went to Robe, we had a mate there in his X trail. Robe has some awsome sand trails and big dunes. The X trail really struggled, got bogged 3 times on the first beach but he hadnt let the tyres down. Once we did that it went almost everywhere but really had a hard time with the undercarriage. The thing was under warrenty at the time but he was saying that as soon as it was out of warrenty he was going to put some bigger wheels and tyres on it, along with some slightly beefed up suspension.

Cheers......HB

I do have an X-Trail, but it's a petrol job!! You have to rev the thing to keep it going in sand, mud etc. so it's pretty useless as an off roader. It's a fine car for towing and getting on and off slipways. I should have bought a diesel, but the petrol was 5K cheaper and you can buy an awful lot of petrol for 5K!

Congrats on the feature in 4X4.
