Hi all

Hi all, my name is Daniel or danny to mates.

Im new to all of this and wanted to say hello to everyone first.

Im from southamtpon and have very recently brought an ocean kayak 'Frenzy', I'm only 23 and am interested in fishing (carp, river and sea) i used to do alot of carp fishing up until a year or so ago. I have just started to discover sea fishing this mixed with a kayak i think could be a very different and enjoyable experience.

I am here to hopefully make some friends and gain information on sea fishing with a kayak as my sea fishing skills are very basic at the moment to say the least. I have seen alot of the topics and posts already and i am already thinking about upgrading my frenzy to a prowler 13 or 15.

I have been out on the river hamble a few times and had my PB bass at 5 1/2lb on my last trip. that was in an old canoe before i brought the frenzy. i have had the frenzy out in the surf at weymouth and it was excellent great fun but not really big enough for fishing in.

well i think i have said enough and hope i havent started to bore some of u already.

Danny

Hi Danny,

Never fished for carp - my next door neighbour does nothing but. I started yakking on the thames trolling a lure for pike. Great exercise as well as fun.

Was not long before I met the guy's on here Darnsarf, Starvin, Richi, Speciman... and got carted out in the big puddle !

Haven't looked back. I doubt you will either

Enjoy!

Hi and welcome,

Well done for returning the bass.If it was 5.5lb was probably a valuable breeding female not a him.Let's hope its survived the nets etc and has spawned again to provide all of us with more fish to catch.Good luck for the future,

Jon.
