Launched at around 9 the next morning with Phooey and Nifty with GB and s2vto close behind.Feathered up a dozen fresh mackerel expecting a bumper session.Sat there all day without a sniff.Had the usual Bull Huss and Greater Weever, managed a new species with a Grey Gurnard.

Arrived at Mudeford Quay at 2am and it looked so nice I decided to launch in the middle of the night! At least I would get the mark to myself!

First fish in the yak was Wrasse

Beautiful ray mate  Think I'm going to have to start coming back down your way again soon, Hampshire seems to be fishing a lot better than Sussex at the moment. Fished Seaford/Cuckmere again this morning, 4am launch, loads of plugging hoping for another bass, then loads of ledgering with rag, squid and prawn, with nothing to show except a couple of wrasse. Dodging the fog banks around dawn was the best bit. Broke the tip of my rod too. :wallbash:

Lovely pictures from all of you. You lucky lot. Those cliffs look fantastic in the early morning glow.

Fab ray Richi - what a pretty fish.

Off to Pwllelli tonight for a boat test tomorrow - not yaking, but taking a rod to explore a couple of spots at dawn and dusk......
