Wondering how much this rods worth

I have had some decent fish using a coke bottle on holiday but I did have decent hooks and line.

It's a budget pole. It will be made in China (like virtually all of them, including the high end ones) to a budget spec. That means it won't be as light or as stiff as a more expensive one, but I am sure it is perfectly serviceable.

It might make very durable garden canes so don't throw it out, unless you hate gardening!

 

In reality it is probably worth very little, as has been said, but it could allow you to try pole fishing, you might just like it and then go onto better things. On the other hand you might not like it and your trial won't have cost you much.
