You might not be able to see the differance Norm B but legaly there is one, and seeing that there seems to be so much empises being placed on the law at the moment it is important that we keep that in sight.

So as we stand now the NMC are concidering if Mat should get a shed load of trophies and its members will have to wait until Feb?

Surley a simple statment saying nice catch Mat but we can not condone angling from a no fishing area, would have been easyer than all this?

Guest muttley

Can't understand why the chairman of a national fishing club (David Rigden) refuses to condemn fishing in no fishing zones. He has had plenty of opportunity to, but as of yet has not. They obviously just want to catch their mullet even if it includes rule breaking. That is not a good example to set.

No disrepects but i thought the guy made it perfectly clear in post 144.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

:clap2: Trespass isn't against the criminal law, it's a civil offence but it is still an offence and a trespasser can be sued for any damage they cause.

I'm not emphesising the law, just the moral attitude of some that think because it's not a criminal offence it's OK. If a person walks through your open door and makes themselves at home, that's OK with you then because they've not broken the law, because they are in your house as a trespasser, they didn't break in so you can't call the police because they've not broken the law, but you can use reasonable force to remove them if they don't leave when asked. They may not be criminals but they would be darned inconvenient at a dinner party. :clap2:

David Rigden did say he wasnt condoning fishing in no fishing areas, but he also said we would have to wait until the NMC AGM in Feb to see if Mat B would get his van load of trophies.

please take me off mod controle as my posts are not comming out in the right order to keep up with the topic!

Dave Matthews(unfortunate name), no it was David Rigden on the BASS forum who bought up the van load of trophies comment!

hi all,

went fishin in mewa yesterday and caught a 10lb 2oz thick lipped mullet :)

Pics to follow

Matt

Just a quick comment :-

I'm not picking ANY holes in the spelling as excitement is abundantly obvious - but I think this 1st post reads "went fishing in the medway yesterday".

It would have been more honest to have spelled out that the fish was caught in a Marina, which I think is not technically part of the Medway.

Forgive the nit-picking, I'm keen to give the skeptics some food for thought.

hahaha lol

well had it about a foot under the surface, gr8 fight.

there was a bigger 1 there but i'll settle with that 1 for now.

fish of a life time

Matt

I'll settle with that one for now - this is the reason that my father rang Matt to advise that the Marina is a no fishing zone and a repeat of this debacle with pictures all over the papers was NOT desirable.

Again - PLSE forgive the nit-picking, but I am trying to give reasons for the postings I have made here.

already told him,

im crew on steves new fishing boat now so i will always be down there :)

its like heaven lol

Matt

"so i will always be down there " - which could get all us anglers with boats in the marina expelled with no other 24/7 marina mooring available on the Medway.

I am trying hard to build up a picture to explain the initial outbursts on this forum. Plse bear with me. Just a few more to go.
