Going out on the offshore rebel on the 29th October. Hopefully for BASS . Hope the weather is good . Any types or advice would be more than welcome. By the way has anybody any news on Ken Davidson from AMMANFORD the chap with the garden centre?

 

Keep an ear out for Pauls cutting edge humour, it's priceless. Do as he tells yer. You will fish the race, it is very hard to do inititally, the bottom is rocky, very easy to loose gear if you stay in contact with it. Drop down and come up two or three turns, shads or live eels on a flowing trace. You might move off to do some breaming as well, i use shrimp hokkies size two with squid or mackerel strip, or buy a couple of bream rigs from weymouth tackle before you go.

 

Ask Paul to tell you about the day he was shot at by the british navy if the fishing goes slack, it will make your eyes water, very funny man.

[Hi Davy.

Pleased to read your report about Weymouth, when Mary and I lived in England we fished aboard Vic Pitmans "Valery Ann" a few years in October, great fishing in those days on the banks and Lulworth,good times, and a loss to angling of a great skipper.

Interested to hear you are comming to Ireland,where are you fishing over here.

Just looked at my favorite weymouth skippers web page as he has just updated the individuall list for next year. One week in march for about five, then the next is in october and that is disappearing fast. Why are you so good Mr Paul Wittall. Bless yer. :)

Been out with Ivan a number of times. Always and excellent day with brilliant craic, still trying to improve his taste in music but you cant beat congering to the sound of wailing guitars!

 

Top Cat is a good boat with tons of space.

 

We was about half a mile from him a couple of weeks ago and he had his music up full blast and was dancing on the side of the boat. Can't wait to give it a go. :lol:
